    Jump into a raft and cruise down the exhilarating Kicking Horse River, going over and around rapids with enough time to catch your breath until dipping into another adrenaline pumping turn.

    Discover Gorgeous Lakes

    Hike to and relax by some of the most beautiful lakes in the world from dazzling glacial blue Peyto Lake to the expansive and breathtaking Emerald and Moraine Lakes.

    Venture Down Mountain Paths

    By foot and by bike, explore the Rocky Mountain Range keeping an eye out for weasels, mountain goats, big horn sheep, and bears.

    The Icefields Parkway is one of the best stretches of road to take a ride down in all of North America, with unrivaled views of the iconic mountain landscape.

    Fly to Canada


    Days 1-2

    Kananaskis

    IMPORTANT

    Hike to Troll Falls

    You’ll hike a 1.7-mile loop trail through the forest to a magical, mossy creek and see Troll Falls, which tumbles down a steep cliff.

    Biking on the Bill Milne Trail

    Today we will wake up to the Eastern Slopes of the Canadian Rockies in Kananaskis Country, an area of Provincial Parks and protected areas south of Banff National Park. We will explore the area on bikes as we wind our way through the 13 mile Bill Milne trail, along tranquil creeks and pine and spruce forests. After lunch, we will take a short 2 mile hike to Troll Falls, with an option to continue to the upper falls. Keep your eyes open for golden eagles soaring high above the Kananaskis river.


    Days 3-4

    Lake Louise

    Rawson Lake Hike

    Gear up for a hike on the stunning trails of Kananaskis Country. This five-mile trail climbs 1,000 feet, during which you’ll come to pristine Rawson Lake, surrounded by alpine meadows and the peaks of Mt. Serrail. It’s a sprawling, wow-worthy landscape.

    Drive the Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper

    Drive through the heart of the Canadian Rockies along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most spectacular road trips. Every bend in this stretch of road is sure to elicit a non-stop series of “oohs” and “ahhs.”

    Ice-Walking on the Athabasca Glacier

    An unforgettable adventure waits as you strap on your gear for an ice-walking foray across the base of the stunning and impressive Athabasca Glacier.

    Scenic Stops

    Keep your camera handy for scenic stops that include views of shimmering blue Peyto Lake and Bow Lake. You’ll even have the chance to catch some wildlife, like bear and elk going about their day.


    Days 5-6

    Banff

    Ride the Rapids of Kicking Horse River

    You’ll take a drive over to the banks of the Kicking Horse River for your choice of rafting options. Both offer lots of excitement and plenty of fast-moving water!

    Middle Canyon / Whitewater Exciter

    Thrills abound on this set of 14 rapids ranging from Class II to Class IV. In-between, gentler waves will give you the chance to look around at the towering canyon walls and wilderness scenery.

    Riverside Picnic

    Tell your tales of derring-do as you enjoy lunch at the rafting basecamp on the banks of the Kicking Horse River.

    Explore Yoho National Park

    You’ll explore Yoho National Park, aptly named from the Cree expression for awe and wonder, visiting the Spiral Tunnels historic site and the spectacular 833-foot-tall Takakkaw Falls.

    Evening at Leisure or Banff Hot Springs

    With free time this evening, take an exploratory stroll through the picturesque town. Or opt to take the shuttle over to the world-famous Banff Hot Springs, boasting therapeutic sulfuric waters that have drawn worldwide travelers to this remote spot for the past 125 years.

    Lake Louise

    In the heart of Banff National Park lies Lake Louise, the fabled subalpine lake known for its extraordinary milky blue waters created by finely sifted glacial rock. As you walk along the lakefront, the backdrop of glacier-draped peaks makes for an unforgettable scene – perfect for that iconic photo along the shores.

    Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks Hiking

    Choose between two backcountry hiking options, both beginning from the shores of teal-toned Moraine Lake in the dreamy Valley of the Ten Peaks.

    Larch Valley Trail (6 Miles, 1,700-foot Elevation Gain)

    Follow the trail uphill through a sun-dappled larch tree forest to a high-alpine meadow covered in seasonal wildflowers. Enjoy views of the tranquil Minnestimma Lakes as they reflect the sapphire skies and towering pinnacles of the Ten Peaks Mountains, an awe-inspiring panorama.

    Farewell Dinner

    Return to the hotel with time to freshen up and relax. Tonight, you’ll join your guide and traveling friends for a final dinner in Banff to celebrate the amazing highlights of your Canadian Rockies adventure.

    Kananaskis Mountain Lodge

    The Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is located in Kananaskis Village of the Canadian Rockies. Amenities include a mini fridge, TV, coffee maker, hair dryer, telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi and TV. The hotel has six restaurants, an indoor heated pool, an indoor-outdoor hot tub, a full-service spa and a eucalyptus steam room.

    Lake Louise Inn

    Royal Canadian Lodge

    Royal Canadian Lodge is located in the heart of the resort town of Banff. Amenities include a mini fridge, flat-screen TV, coffee/tea-making facilities, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel has a restaurant, pool, spa and fitness center. Banff’s downtown shopping and dining center is a short walk away.
