    Join a local family and learn how to make real Colombian side dishes like arepas and patacones. Then enjoy sharing your wonderful meal with your hosts – they’ll make the main dish!

    Bike Through the City of Bogota

    Join the popular tradition of Ciclovia, when the streets are closed to traffic and opened for biking and recreation. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore in a safe, and fun way — with plenty of time to sample yummy things along the way.

    Go on a Treasure Hunt

    Ahoy Matey! Harken back to the plundering days of Sir Francis Drake and go hunting for clues and hidden treasure buried deep in history. Shiver me timbers!

    Day 1

    Fly to Bogota, Colombia

    Days 1-3


    Gold Museum

    Bogota’s most famous museum contains more 55,000 pieces of gold from pre-Hispanic cultures in Colombia. Each piece tells a story about the region it is from and how it was used in daily life, ceremonies and rituals.

    Walk the Heart of Bogota

    Our walk through historic La Candelaria will take us to Plaza Bolivar, the San Francisco Church and the lively pedestrian street “Calle 11” bursting with local restaurants.

    Graffiti Stencil Workshop and Friends Across Borders

    Join our Friends Across Borders and a local artist to learn a stencil technique that can be used on canvas as well as walls!

    Atelier Urban Art Collective

    Visit a series of workshops on photography, screen printing, sewing, music and more in ‘La Chatica’, the headquarters of the Art Collective. You’ll learn about creating social impact through relational and community art projects.

    Cooking with a Local Family

    Juan Manuel and his mother welcome you into their home where you’ll learn to make some typical dishes.


    Hop on bikes for a ride along a ciclovia, a bikeway, through colorful streets, stopping along the way to try tasty empanadas, sweets and fresh juices.

    Discover Medellin - and its Food!

    Travel through the city by escalator, cable car and metro. Try Colombia’s best arepas on Parque del Rio along with other avant-garde delights.


    Enjoy 1,300 feet of exciting zip line as you fly over waterfalls and river canyons. The scenery is spectacular!

    Hike to the Buey Gorge

    Descend into the canyon to play in the natural pools at the foot of the waterfalls.

    Stroll and Taste

    Explore the city rich in culture and history to capture the magic, people, architecture, and landscapes.

    Chocolate Tasting

    Enjoy a chocolate workshop to both taste and make a variety of flavor combinations.

    Tierra Bomba Treasure Hunt

    On the island of Tierra Bomba you’ll be taken prisoner. Using your imagination and clever ways, find the clues from hundreds of years past to escape and find the hidden treasure!

    Corales del Rosario Island National Park

    Enjoy the day in Corales del Rosario National Park onboard a private boat. Swim and snorkel in turquoise water, and enjoy a Caribbean lunch.

    The Cite Hotel Bogota is located in downtown Bogota. Amenities include a safe deposit box, mini-fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The hotel includes a rooftop pool and a fitness center.

    Hotel Park 10 Medellin

    The Park 10 Hotel is located in El Poblado area of Medellin. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and air conditioning. The hotel includes two restaurants, fitness center and a gym.

    Hyatt Regency Cartagena

    The Hyatt Regency in Cartagena is located just off the coast of the Caribbean Sea. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, room safe, plasma TV and toiletries. The hotel has two restaurants, a spa, 24-hour fitness center and infinity pools.
