    Join a master craft beer brewer to learn about the brewing process, the growing craft beer scene in Costa Rica, and try some of the most delicious brews at the best pubs in town.

    The Balsa River is an electrifying river that keeps every rafter sharp, full of excitement, and feeling a welcomed adrenaline rush.

    Relax on the Pacific Coast

    From having exclusive access to the Langosta Beach Club to taking surf lessons in Guanacaste, you’ll be able to experience the coast exactly how you want.

    Explore Rio Celeste National Park

    Take a lazy float down the Rio Celeste, taking in the surroundings and hike to the Rio Celeste waterfall and “Los Tenideros”, the spot in the river where the color changes to its signature cool turquoise hue.

    Hang Out in and Explore the Arenal Region

    Hike and mountain bike on jungle trails, relax and refresh in the natural hot springs, and spend a night out in La Fortuna with the locals.

    Fly to Costa Rica

    San Jose

    Doka Coffee Tour

    Watch how coffee is picked, milled and ground, then sample the results! If your eyes are still a little heavy from the early morning, they are sure to perk up from the rich aroma and flavorful taste of a hot cup of fresh Costa Rican coffee.

    La Paz Waterfall Gardens

    Take a trip to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, featuring some of the best hiking opportunities near San José and the country’s most famous waterfalls, as well as an abundance of wildlife.

    Carpe Craft Beer Pub Crawl

    Join one of the best parties in San José! Take a pub crawl with a local brew master and learn about brewing, how to pair beer with certain foods, and try some of the best beer Costa Rica has to offer.

    Balsa River whitewater rafting

    Whitewater raft down the rapids of the Balsa River, dipping over sets of rapids with just enough time to calm down before hitting another exhilarating set! When the river calms, you’ll have plenty of chances to look for iguanas, sloths, and howler monkeys.

    Soak in the Arenal Hot Springs

    Take a load off from your day of adventuring or just relax in nature with a soak in Arenal Hot Springs, just steps from where you’ll be staying.

    La Fortuna

    La Fortuna has become a favorite spot for adventure travelers in Arenal. Its quaint cafes and bars and sweeping panoramic view of the Arenal Volcano make this the perfect town to go out in for a night.

    Mountain Biking

    Mountain bike the mountainous landscape of Arenal, traversing paved and packed gravel roads, tree roots, water crossings, and a variety of other exciting challenges.

    Experience the Sky Trek Zip-line

    Fly through the air from one platform to the next, from treetop to treetop, across the Sky Trek Zip-Line cable course, an exhilarating, treetop experience.

    Days 5-6

    Rio Celeste

    Tubing Down Rio Celeste

    Get the surreal experience of floating down a river so turquoise that it doesn’t look real while surrounded by a lush green jungle. It is a picturesque and relaxing foray into the Costa Rican jungle.

    Hiking Through Rio Celeste National Park

    Hiking through Rio Celeste National Park is nothing short of exciting or breathtaking. We’ll make our way to the Rio Celeste waterfall, possibly the most beautiful in the country, and to “Los Tenideros,” the place where the river turns a beautiful color of turquoise.

    Sunset Cruise

    Nothing says vacation like a sunset cruise out on the waters of Costa Rica.

    Hang Out at the Langosta Beach Club

    Relax at the exclusive Langosta Beach Club, set right on the beach with direct access to the ocean, full bar, restaurant, and pool.

    Surfing Lessons

    Costa Rica has beautiful beaches and these beaches are the perfect places to learn how to surf. With a private instructor, we’ll learn how to get started on a surf board and by the end of the lesson we’ll be riding waves all on our own.

    Hilton Garden Inn

    The Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay while in San José. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious, giving your family a great space to relax. There is also a pool, a fitness room, and free Wi-Fi and internet access throughout the hotel. The lobby features a 24 hour snack service and it is centrally located to nearby restaurants, markets and a drugstore.

    Arenal Springs

    Hotel Arenal Springs is ideally located just five miles from La Fortuna, in between the town and Lake Arenal. As the name indicates, the hotel’s proximity to the Arenal Volcano allows for its two natural hot springs, one for adults and one for children – it is only 20 minutes from Arenal Volcano National Park. There are 87 junior suites on the property, each with direct views of the active side of Arenal Volcano.

    The Hideaway

    This boutique eco-hotel is nestled in the rainforest next to the Tenorio Volcano National Park. The spacious casitas will have a king or two queen beds, an LED television, a large bathroom and private outdoor shower. In the restaurant you’ll find world class culinary delights made with fresh local ingredients.

    Esplendor Tamarindo

    Esplendor offers modern living and convenience in a quiet location just off the main streets of Tamarindo. All rooms have ocean view rooms, air conditioning, LCD television, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Gourmet food is available in their Pura Vida Restauarnt and there is a full service spa and wonderful pool. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach or make use of the free hotel shuttle for transfer. All guests have exclusive access to the Langosta Beach Club offering an oceanfront pool and amenities.
