ActiveActive trips revolve around multi-sport activities that keep your family outside and having fun! These activities are not always physically demanding but they can be and do require a basic level of fitness.

Get an up close look at this modern engineering marvel on a tour of the Miraflores Locks, an information center and three levels of viewing points to watch the ships as they pass through.
Explore Tropical Bocas del Toro
Catch the surf and feel the waves at your back, put on some snorkel gear and search for glistening colorful fish in Coral Cay and Man-of-War Cay, and relax on Sea Star beach in this tropical paradise.
Journey Through the Jungle Canopy
Explore the tops of the trees, where they meet the sky and fly from platform to platform on a fun and exhilarating zip-line expedition.
Hop into a raft with your whole family and take on class II or III rapids on a blood-pumping adventure that is so much fun it’ll be impossible to forget.
Fly to Panama
Miraflores Visitor Center
Tour the Miraflores Visitor Center, offering three levels for visitors to observe the Panama Canal’s operation as the ships pass through the Locks. It’s the best place to take photos and learn about how incredible the canal system really is!
Gatún Lake Jungle Boat Adventure
We’ll take a voyage across Gatún Lake in the Panama Canal, passing gigantic ships and observing plenty of wildlife— iguanas, crocodiles, Geoffrey’s tamarins, and howler and white- faced capuchin monkeys, just to name a few— along the way!
Visit an Emberá village, learning about the importance of living by a river to their customs and daily life. Kids will especially love being “tattooed” with traditional jagua, a natural dye the Emberá use to adorn their bodies.
Friends Across Borders Meeting
We’ll meet the Emberá community and learn their unique language and traditional dances, and anjoy a soccer match. Your kids will have an incredible time getting to know and play with the kids in the Emberá Village.
Stroll the streets of historic Casco Antiguo, learning about its storied past, from being attacked by pirates to becoming influenced by the French, which spawned its modern-day nickname, the French Quarter of Panama.
Bocas del Toro
Take a surf lesson and ride some waves. We’ll ride a boat out to the perfect spot to practice some new surf skills and have a ton of fun in the water!
Sea Star Beach
Head to Sea Star Beach, where we’ll get time to lie in the sun, relax on the beach, swim in the Caribbean, build a sand castle and eat some lunch. Plenty of beach-time fun!
Snorkel at Coral and Man-of-War Cay
Snorkel in the tropical underwater landscape of Coral and Man-of-War Cay, small islands that are like real-life aquariums!
Whitewater River Rafting
Experience the fun of whitewater rafting down a Class II or III river, giving us ample opportunities for adventure, tropical-wildlife viewing, and swimming!
Zip-line Through the Cloud Forest
Soar through the tropical cloud forest canopy on a zip line, using a time-tested system of cables and harnesses. Flying high over the trees is an extreme thrill-ride and an adrenaline rush that’s nearly impossible for brave-hearted adventurers not to enjoy.
Boquete Tree Trek
Explore the gorgeous views of the cloud forest on a series of trails interconnected by stationary and suspension bridges. All the bridges are made of galvanized steel and high-strength aluminum for utmost safety.
Farewell Dinner at Salsipuedes
Enjoy a farewell dinner at Salsipuedes, one of Panama’s best restaurants, conveniently located in our hotel.
