Over the past few years, Thomson has provided incredible travel experiences that have allowed us to get back out in the world, despite COVID-19. We plan to stay true to that mission and continue to stay in line with CDC guidelines as the world continues to reopen.

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel with Thomson?
Thomson Family Adventure strongly recommends but no longer requires guests to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to go on a trip.
Please note that some destinations may have requirements and/or documents needed for entry. Regional requirements may change with little or no notice, which may cause trip interruptions for unvaccinated individuals.
We’re keeping up to date on the latest updates from the CDC, the WHO, the State Department and our partners on the ground. If there are changes to your trip, we will send you an email to keep you informed.

What if someone tests positive for COVID-19 on my trip?
According to Thomson’s protocol and CDC guidance, any guests who test positive during the trip will be asked to isolate in line with CDC isolation guidelines. Your guide will help your group figure out what the next steps may be and help to get your trip back on track.
How large of a group should I expect to travel with?
As always, Thomson travelers can expect to travel in small groups. Depending on the size of your trip, you may join another family – eating meals, riding in vans and partaking in activities together. Are the trips safe?
Yes! Since 1998, we have made sure that every aspect of your adventure are just as safe as they are fun! Our guides are extensively trained to keep you and your family safe and comfortable. Each of the operators that we work with has been vetted and has a long history of keeping our guests safe. If there are any activities on your itinerary that make you feel uncomfortable, you are not required to participate.
What if my family needs special accommodations?
We have a great record for accommodating all needs of our travelers. Dietary restrictions, allergies, mobility issues, and activity preferences are all taken care of while we plan the perfect trip for you and your family.
Should I get travel insurance?
