    Duration.

    8 days

    Activity Level

    Active

Active trips revolve around multi-sport activities that keep your family outside and having fun! Your family will spend more time interacting with the elements and exploring than sitting on a beach or inside of a museum. These activities are not always physically demanding but they can be and do require a basic level of fitness.
    Meals

    7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners

If your family seeks action and thrills on a family vacation, you’ll love this adventurous journey through Costa Rica. Discover stunning wildlife, lush lowland rainforests and pristine beaches while canoeing, zip-lining, hiking, and rafting. Every day is WOW!

    Explore Tortuguero National Park

Traverse canals by canoe and jungle boat through wildlife rich mangrove forests in one of the most biologically diverse places in the country. It’s an endless stream of wildlife — monkeys, crocs, sloths and more!

    Sarapiqui Whitewater Rafting

Have a blast on a super fun Class II/III rafting trip down a river of alternating crystalline pools and churning rapids. Then cross that same river – twice – on an exhilarating zip line.

    Maleku Village Experience

A visit to the Maleku village is an opportunity to share and learn more about Costa Rica’s legacy of indigenous culture. The Maleku are one of the 24 indigenous communities in Costa Rica. In the village, you will meet the people and learn about their natural medicinal plants, take an archery lesson and learn about traditional  Costa Rican arts!

    Beachside Paradises

Enjoy beaches beloved by Ticos on the Pacific Coast, unwinding, snorkeling, paddle-boarding and more. There is tons to do – or time to do nothing, it’s your choice!
